Marbella Golf & Country Club Course Review
Despite the original landowner reclaiming some land, a few modifications to the layout quickly restored this as a fine place to golf.
Demolition of a 20 storey skeleton building near the clubhouse restored the lovely views from the course, and the new management team have a 5 year plan to make this a really special place.
A short uphill par 4 to a well bunkered green grabs you attention before you get the chance to open your shoulders on the 2nd and 4th. The 4th at 270m is in range for many players as there is a spectacular elevated tee, but lots of trouble awaits anything but your best drive.
A great variety of holes and constant direction changes keeps you alert, and you certainly don't need a driver from every tee. The clubhouse is a quite spectacular building with terraces looking down over the golf course to the Mediterranean. First class practice facilites and attentive staff provide everything you need for a great day's golf here.
