Valle Romano Golf Course Review
This is a new Cabell B Robinson course which only opened in 2010. With such a distinguished designer you would expect a top quality course, and this is exactly what you get.
In our view a superb and challenging design, and the course is in excellent condition given that it has only recently opened.
The course is in quite a spectacular setting with views of both the sea and the mountains. You know you are in for a treat from very first tee, with a magnificent downhill par 5 dogleg inviting you to cut the corner.
All of the par 3’s are challenging, especially with the breezes that come off the sea. The 12th is another spectacular hole, with a steep drop to the fairway below, and an invitation for the big hitter to go for the green a little over 300 yds away!
A fine clubhouse, and attentive staff added to the enjoyment of our day here - this course will definitely be added to our list of “must play” courses.
